Keg at the brewpub, Prague Day 1 of Fergus and Sarah’s Czech jaunt. 29/09/14. Hazed golden / orange coloured pour, dull lasting white head. Aroma is spicy orange peel, caramel, vanilla ice cream. Flavour is crisp biscuity, slight caramel grains, orange fruit and peel, Slightly sweet in the finish and maybe under fermented. .Some lingering hop matter sort of flavour. Palate is semi-sweet, highish carbonation, creamy on the tongue. Interesting but not great.

tap at the brewpub. Amber colour, off-white head, lovely nose of caramel. Full-bodied, good malty body with hints of caramel. Delicious, almost chewable, superb bitter-sweet overall character.

draught at the brewpub. Hazy amber with an off-white head, creamy and dense. Fruity-yeasty nose. Full-bodied, malty with dried fruit and a pleasant yeasty touch, good aromatic hops with more fruity flavours in the finish. Smooth carbonation.

draught at the brewpub. Hazy deep brown-black colour with a creamy off-white head. Honey in the nose. Full-bodied, malty with saaz hops and hints of honey, also coffee and dark chocolate, but not too sweet. Perfectly balanced. Anytime again.

Tap(@U tří růží, Staré Město):Deep golden, a bit unclear, firm and stable creamy off-white head; mild to moderate - unfortunately served pretty cold - sweetish-malty nose with a delicate herbal-hoppy background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied for a beer of 5.6%, but soft at least; lingering malty to caramelly finish, balanced by a good dash of herbal hops.Good, but not overwhelming…

Whoa, didn’t expect to be the first one to rate it. Hope my mobile phone gets returned so that I can add a better description. Anyway, on tap at the brewpub, of course, courtesy of Boris (huge thanks!). Poured an extremely dark brown body with a lasting off white head. Creamy grainy light aroma, sweetish, some raisins. Mild soft taste, mild raisins, vaguely soapy, ending dry with some mild bitterness. Not too complex, again, slightly too light but, again, a pleasant drink!
