A small taste from wiosna (cask) @ St. Urhos Pub. Pours cloudy amber with a low head. Aroma is sweet malts with some banana. Flavour is sweet malts, banana, juniper. Not bad at all.

Tap at Time Bar, Helsinki. Murky light brown beer with small head. Aroma has rye bread and sweet ripe banana notes, flavor too. Not too sweet. Lingonberry very mild but perhaps helps to lower the sweetness. Thick body, even smoothie vibe.

Plastic bag 1.3l from Alko, Arkadia, Helsinki. Cloudy, amber colored. AROMA- yeasty, mirabelle, bitter berries, malt, bubble gum, grain, rye, slightly smoky, medlar. FLAVOR- neutral, slightly bitter, baked apple, mirabelle, apricot, plum, bitter berries, malt, rye, touch of smoke again. Thick, syrupy body. Yes, this is what I call sahti.

Draught at Time Bar, Helsinki. Hazy, gold to beige colored. AROMA- very interesting, mirabelle, peach, tart berries, pumpkin. FLAVOR- slightly sweet, slightly sour, slightly tart, lots of berries, mirabelle, sea buckthorn, medlar. Syrupy body. My first experience with sahti. And it's great.

Bag in box. Murky brown color, no head. Thick like a berry smoothie. Lingonberries shows, some yeast, dough, wheat and juniper. Thick and delicious.
