clear golden colour, huge, dense ecru-ish white head; aroma of grainy, some apricot jam, floral and slight herbal notes; taste is the same; ok...I would appreciate it as a tripel....but as a quadrupel (as they claim...)?!?! oh, my f_cking godness!!!!! Unforgivable from a Belgian brewer! F_CK! WHAT THE F_CKING HELL SHOULD I DO NOW?!?! If it they indicated it as a tripel, I would be more, than happy to score it to 4.0 BUT what should I do now?!?!

Towering, dense snowwhite head over lively carbonated, clear golden beer. Spicy malts, lagermalts, faint diary, faint herbs. Huge head seriously hampers nasal perception. Sweet grains, very dull, ending in sweet almonds. Quite slick, hints at alcohol, very carbonated. Oh dear. In the life and times of craft beer, here's again some Walloon living fossil. And yes, I immediately changed this to strong blond, the "Quadrupel" is a sales' gimmick. Txs to Stef!

Bottle at home. Clear golden color with a full sized white head. Aroma is malts, grainy malty in a good way. Flavor is kinda similar, tastes a 3 grain tripel with a nice average bitterness underneath the sweetish notes. Nice.

Isle Of Wight Holiday Beer#7. Paler golden, decent head. Floral-sweet hoppy notes, more genuine Belgian style aftertaste, which lingers. Good strength, good body. Found in Portsmouth on the way to the island.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, orange golden colour with average, fluffy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, wheaty malty and yeasty fruity aroma, hints of white bread, a touch of apricot, mirabelle. Taste is sweet-ish, wheaty malty and yeasty fruity, minimally phenolic, hints of apricot, mirabelle, a touch of white bread, mildly bitter, hoppy counterpart.
Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation.
Fairly refreshing, simple - OK.
