Pale, slight haze. Nice bugs on the nose, and a deep armangac aroma. On the palate, it's relatively soft, with a light barrel note, and the armangac comes in with a lot of depth. A little bit of horseblanket in the wildness, wheat, lemon. Very good.

750mL bottle, pours a mostly clear golden with a tiny white head. Aroma reveals pungent, lush armagnac barrels, some leather, hay, and a touch of stone fruits. Flavour has a nice expression of bugs, lush armagnac barrels that don’t hit harshly at all, subtle stone fruit and baking spices, finishing oaky and lightly tannic. Complex and integrated, as usual from BE. Not as complex in the yeast expression or funk as their blended offerings, but this showcases the armagnac really nicely.

Poured from 750mL bottle (2022 vintage). Chill hazed gold with minimal white head. Nice balance, good use of the Armagnac barrels, the leathery tobacco notes linger after the finish. Quite nice.

750mL bottle. Pours clear gold with a minimal white head. Dusty and rustic nose, gentle tartness with some woody barrels. Flavour has a gentle tartness, leather, dry mustiness; dusty with an excellent armagnac character. This is great.

500ml bottle. Pours a hazy dark brown with red hue and a small, foamy, long lasting, beige head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Aroma of roasted malt, peat, toffee, whisky and oak. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, peat, toffee, earth and oak in a dry, mild bitter, warming whisky finish. Full body with a creamy, smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Well balanced and abv is well hidden.

Poured from 750mL bottle. Hazy dark orangey gold with small white head. Nice plum forward with light funk, very nice.

Appearance is kind of a dull amber, a bit of opacity. No head, that disappeared quickly. Really nice plum aroma on this. On the palate, an almost jammy plum character, good body, slight acidity. A little brett, a little bit of barrel influence as well. Well-rounded, and bursting with fruit.

750mL bottle, pours an opaque muddy orange with a small white head. Aroma has rich, tart, dry plums, big barnyard funk, and some tannic oak. Flavour is bright, with lots of tart but not acidic plum, gentle funk, some nice bugginess, and a touch of oak. Wonderful bright plum character that somehow avoids being acidic. Complex, wonderfully funky, and masterfully blended.

750mL bottle. Pours murky dull gold with a white head. Rustic, earthy yeast and plum skins on the nose. Flavour has a rustic, buggy yeast character, gentle tartness, juicy plums, and some slightly tannic plum skins on the finish. Very nice plum expression. An excellent, complex beer.
