Description
Blind Enthusiasm is driven by our passion for great beer and fine food. We brew three distinct types of beer at two locations in Edmonton. We brew crisp ales and lagers as well as complex barrel-aged beers at the Market, located alongside our restaurant, Biera. At The Monolith we’re running one of largest barrel-fermented beer programs in Canada.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Clear-ish amber brown with small off white head. Touch of sweet vinous brandy notes with feint figgy caramel malt, light body, abv is very hidden, overall quite simple and mild, but okay.

750ml @ Phill's.
Aroma: mix of sweet cherries and funk, cherry pits, some sweetness and acidity.
Taste: along the same lines, quite complex and woody.
Overall: nice one.

Bright aroma of raspberry, cherry, nice bugs. Has a gentle peachy-pink colour. Gentle malt base, medium tartness, light bugs, and the fruit on this is quite bright. The fruit's tart, but also a bright with a fair bit of cherry. Yeah, this is good stuff.

750mL bottle, pours an opaque dull orange with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of raspberry pomace, maybe a bit of cherries, some oak, nice barnyard character, and general bugginess. Flavour is fairly tart and moderately acidic, with plenty of raspberry and cherry pomace indeed, lots of bugs, some oak, and light-moderate acidity. Doesn’t have the complexity of many other Blind Enthusiasm wild ales, but it’s well-put-together as usual.

750mL bottle. Pours murky gold with a white head. Fresh raspberries, red cherries, and an earthy wild yeast character with lots of straw on the nose. Flavour has fresh raspberries and cherries up front, some cherry pits, and a musty, earthy yeast character. Nice fruit character; the yeast is toned down but has a good amount of must. It's not my favourite of theirs, but very nice.
