Magnum at Barrel Fest 2025, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of barnyard funk, dry wood, some dry-hopping, and light leather. Flavour is wonderfully cohesive, with complex barnyard funk, big woodiness, and gentle dry-hopping on top. Great funk character and the hops work to lightly accentuate this. Excellent.

Hazy amber, a bit on the dull side in terms of appearance. This one's quite yeasty. Some toasty notes, not a great yeast character. Something not hitting here.

Bottle pour at Barrel Fest 2025, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma has tons of brett funk, wood, and some spicy bitter hops. Flavour is dry, with lots of dry wood, plenty of brett, and spicy Saaz. Not combo of bittering hops and brett. Dry finish. Very good.

375mL bottle. Pours murky dull gold with a white head. Very gentle dry caramel malts on the nose. Flavour has very weak dry caramel malts, some dry grass, gentle spice. Not a whiff of port to be found. Pretty uninteresting; surprising given the line-up of breweries. Meh.

375mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma has tons of peated whiskey barrels upfront, toasted malt, some earthiness. Flavour is loaded with intense peated whiskey—wow, that’s intense—with a deep toasted bready malt base. The peat whiskey really carries this, accentuation what is probably a solid malt base already. I’m digging this but you really have to love peat.
