30/5/2025. BIAB at the 38th Colchester Real Ale and Cider Festival. Musty stewed woody developed baked apple. Very dry. Liked it.

Bottle pour at two trees watford. A clear golden orange coloured pour with no head. Aroma is semi sweet, funky apple, hint of salty hard cheese, brown apple, apple curd,. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, tangy green apple, spicy notes, bark, dryish finish, spicy. Palate is semi sweet, tangy almost still, some tannin.. Nice.

Panda from danlo, cheers Ed. Pours clear dark orange gold with no head. Aroma: apple, caramel, demerara, mild funk. Taste: bittersweet, tangy, light sharp tangy apple, caramel, leather, funk, mild tannins. Dry on the palate. Medium body with low/no carbonation.

22/1/2025. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear orange copper with a short lasting bubbly head. Aroma is funky, rich apple, brown sugar, developing woodiness. Nice balanced sweetness and tartness. Medium body, light sparkling carbonation. Very nice.

(Bottle, 4.7%) Pale amber colour, hazy, with foamy off-white head. Fruity nose with red apples, oak wood, marzipan, orange, butterscotch and vanilla. Fruity taste with notes of red apples, oak wood, orange marmalade, marzipan, butterscotch and a generous acidity in the finish. Some tannins. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Complex, tasty and well made. Very nice.

Moderately hazed orange to light amber topped with an off white cap that escapes to the edge.
Nose is apple skins, light funk, caramelised sugars, orchard wood.
Taste comprises bitter sweet apple, light funk, straw, orchard wood, tannins, caramel.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close.
Decent.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers GB!. Aroma is apple juice with hints of toffee. Very smooth and the aroma follows through in the taste. Dry finish. Very nice.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo via Ed. Cheers! Aroma is blackcurrant, whiskey notes, slightly spiced and hints of apple. Drying blackcurrant taste that fizzes on the tongue. Very fruity.
