Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a thin head. Mainly hoppy with a dryness but also fruity throughout, again with the dryness that is a staple of this ales character. Farily easy drinking for its strength.

Bottle from Corks Out, Cheshire. Unclear brown with thin head. A porter-style brown ale with a light sweetness and a hint of roasted malt in its taste. Quite good.

Bottle from Corks Out, Chester. Clear copper-red in colour. It has a lovely smoothish light tasting pale malt flavour with a similar aroma. This has a light sweetness to it too.

Bottle, Chester Beer & Wine. Murky dark orange pour with the merest off white head. Sweet nose with a slight sourness and notes of wood, sweaty hop, pear and yeast . Gentle carbonation and soft mouthfeel. Sweetish flavour with some spicy peppery hop which produced some decent bitterness which went toe to toe with some caramel malts and booze notes into a lingering finish. Not too shabby an offering.
