Plain golden. Transparent but with a bit of haziness. Average sized soft looking white head, ok retention, nice lacing. Mild aroma: soft, white bready maltiness, a touch of buttery softness (not reaching unpleasant levels), hoppiness very much in the background with some citric (lemonish) hints and a bit of refreshing grassiness. Taste notes follow the aroma, with diacetyl barely noticeable and actually a bit more emphasis on hoppy freshness. Still a mild interpretation of the style, but hey it's an 8°. Overall a bit on the sweetish side for the style, but still nicely refreshing from it's lightness. Light body, average carbonation, decently lively in it's refreshing feel. Nothing special, but quite enjoyable on the overall.

From tap at Zlý Časy, Prague, after seeing The Secret by Smetana at the National Theatre 26.06.25. Clear golden. Bright white head and lacing. Aroma and taste of sweet pilsner malt, butterscotch, overripe papaya and harsh caramel. Not great

Can 0,5 ltr: Clear golden coloured brew with an sweet bitter and dry bitter mixed taste somehow, with an annoying sweet buttery caramel taste, which is intentionally brewed.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. Light sweet flavour with notes of pale grains, a little yeast, dough, damp hay bales. Light bodied with average carbonation. Subtle grassy hops in the finish, further pale grains, straw, yeast, biscuits. Basic but drinkable.

Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced from HOTM. Pours clear gold with a modest, creamy white head. Light sweet flavour, somewhat buttery, notes of lean pale bread, slight bitter hay, dough, straw. Light bodied with average carbonation. OK balance to finish, some doughy-bready notes, subtle bitter straw. So so on the whole.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours clear gold with a creamy, off-white head. Light sweet flavour with nice, sun-kissed pale malts, a little dough, cereal, straw, grass. Light bodied with average carbonation. Balanced finish with clean bitterness, grass and dirty hay, lightly toasted biscuity malts. Really drinkable.
