330ml bottle. Clear, dark amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish, minimally sugary, caramel malty aroma, fruity hoppy notes of orange, marmalade, orange zest. Taste is slightly bitter, zesty, citrusy hoppy and sweet, caramel malty, notes of orange, marmalade, orange zest, some mandarine, toffee undertones. Nice.

(Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 31 March 2019) Golden amber colour with creamy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of apricots, peaches and floral hops. Malty, fruity taste with orange peel, apricots, soft malt and a balanced floral bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Not really exciting, but tasty and well balanced. Quite enjoyable.

Cask at Southampton Arms. Aroma a bit nutty, and malty. Taste is similar with slight bitterness and a slight carmel sweetness. Maybe element of strawberry hidden in there somewhere. No carbonation at all, and quite thin-bodied. --- Beer merged from original tick of East London Foundation Bitter on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:06 - Score: Appearance - 4 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 6.
