(Cask at The Pocket, Islington, London, 20 Nov 2025) Golden colour with foamy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with grass, citrus and wheat crackers. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of grass, citrus, peaches, pineapple, white bread and a balanced citric/grassy bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Refreshing and hoppy. Nice one.

Huge dense & frothy cream head, pitting in over red-shot black beer. Roast, sweet, nutty, meaty; Maillard reaction, breadcrust. Sweetish, less roasted than the nose, bit of coffee, dark bread, roasted nuts. Quite chewy, very oatmeal slick, well-carbonated. Decent if unassuming stout. Txs to Stef!

Crystal clear red copper beer under a small cream-coloured head. Fine hops, hint at diacetyl, maltsyrup. Very British. Bitterish to bitter, again good UK hops, herbs, fresh spinach. Diacetyl masked in the flavour. Light body, if reasonably slick; very bitterish, almost metallic aftertaste; medium carbonation. Convincing, and not half bad. Making the umpteenth DIPA must become boring for an English brewery, no? Txs to Stef!
