The great pre GBBF bottleshare at ChrisO’s. Almost opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth rich dark malts, plenty of dark chocolate. Mild spice. Tangy fruits underneath. Surprisingly light chocolatey finish. Nice.

Sampled @ GBBF 2017, Day 1. A clear orange brown beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of reddish malt, nuts, mild bitter hops. Taste of mild citrusy hops, caramel, red malt.

Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Almost clear golden. Distinct spicy nose with some citrus. Dry with medium body and crisp, rounded mouthfeel. Grainy and spicy with very bitter finish. Enjoyable.

Bottle shared at Chriso’s and Ruth pre GBBF shindig, August 5, 2017. Dark brown pour. Boozy dark fruits in the nose. Bitter chocolate and a bit of liquorice. Taste has some booze and dry bitter chocolate. Cocoa powder. Nice drying tannin thing. Leathery finish.

Bottle shared at Chriso’s and Ruth pre GBBF shindig. 02/08/2017. A dark mahogany brown coloured pour with a lasting a fine tan head. Aroma is sweet, jammy fruits, raspberry ripple, woody. Flavour is composed of tangy, tart berry, raspberry, woody, airy, little oxidised, liquorice, dark choc. Tangy berry. Palate is medium sweet, creamy, moderate carbonation, ok.
