500ml bottle at home on 11th Dec 2015: poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard. Very slight haze to the golden/blonde pour, the head a full blanket of white foam, plenty of carbonation bubbles rising through the beer. Hop dry from the start, refreshing and almost lip smacking in nature. Mild citrus feel to the bitterness, malts a long way from showing themselves, this is hop centric throughout.

50cl bottle from Home Bargains, Cwmbran. An amber pour with a thin translucent head and light carbonation; somewhat musty grassy aroma; nettly taste with some sour grains; and a pleasantly spiced bitterness to finish. Not bad, for a bargain basement beer.

GBBF Day 2. Cask. Clear amber beer, no head. Palate is light, dry and has modest fine carbonation. Tangy malts, unsweet caramel. Touch of sweet floralness and sweet esters. Little dried fruit and very mild citrus. Light dry finish. Passable.

Cask at GBBF. It pours clear brown with a small beige head. The nose is toasty, caramel, gravy browning, caramel, toasted nuts, dried fruits and some other stuff. The taste is wet wood, damp leaves, earthy, twig, earthy roast, weak coffee, spice and cocoa with a dry finish. Light body, low carbonation and oily carbonation. A bit weak and watery. Meh.
