Cask at Craft Beer Co, Islington. Pours dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of light coffee, toffee and chocolate. Taste has more of the same. Light bitter. Slightly watery at the end. Ok.

Cask at Cambridge Blue, Cambridge on 22 November 2013. Poured black with a small, rocky tan head. Mild aroma with some dark fruit and burnt malt. Mouth feel was a bit disappointingly watery. Sweet flavours initially; apple pie, caramel and molasses. Finish balanced it with some roasted malt, cereal and burnt sugar.

Cask at the Rose & Crown, Sandhurst. Bright golden amber with a thin white head; vanilla aroma; soft in the mouth with caramel malts and some vanilla; and a dry, oaky, bitterness to finish. An impressive bitter.

Cask at the Rose & Crown, Sandhurst. Bright amber with a ring of white head; citrus aroma; clean citrusy taste; and a dry finish, with a sharp, strong, but shortlived bitterness. A very good Golden Ale.

Cask at CPK, London on 13th February 2013. Clear copper with off-white non-lacing head of foam. Intense grapefruit citric aroma. Lemon citrus and lactic sourness in-mouth, berries’n’creme finish and smooth mouthfeel.

Cask at CPK, London on 13th February 2013. Clear amber with slowly diminishing white, non-lacing foam. Hoppiness and berry fruits aroma. Delicate smoke, berries, chocolate and hazelnuts in-mouth, and a grassy, bitter finish developing. Fine carbonation, light texture and a fair amount of body.

From cask. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild citrusy and grassy. Sweet malty, light fruity and toasted. Light bitter and mild fruity. Ends with a sweet toasted malt finish.

Cask handpull at The Cornubia, Bristol. Light brown colour with a small off-white head. Slight malty, toasted aroma. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft carbonation. Not great.
