Bottle (Geburtstag-Bier) Stale/sour barley malt aroma. Medium yellow color with large head. Lightly sweet barley malt flavor and bitter grass hops finish. More like a mediocre Helles.

Bottle. Caramel malt and orange aroma. Copper color with moderate head. Slightly sweet caramel malt and bitter grass hops flavor. Nicely blended. Nice mixture of malt and hops - quite nice.

Bottle, thank Pivnizub. Amber, golden head. Light metallic straw aroma. Caramel base, grassy hop counterpoint. Medium to light body, sparkly mouthfeel, lacks the velvet quality I associate with a good vienna. Quick finish. Pretty uneventfull.

Bottle, as Karmeliter Geburtstagsbier, thanks Pivnizub. Pale golden fine pearling bubbles, lacing white head. Light aromatic citric hop aroma. Medium to light body, spritzy, citrc hops, fine dry finish, ends slightly watery on the palate - quick finish.

Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20091120]
