(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Grainy and strawy malty aroma with traces of cara-malt and a whiff of herbal hops. Moderately sweet and delicately bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a modest carbonation. Slightly grainy (cara.)malty taste with herbal and slightly flowery hoppy spots; sweet malt-accented finish with a mildly hoppy touch. Lacks a bit aroma, otherwise okay. 15.II.14

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear golden colour, mid-sized fluffy white head. Dry grainy nose. Malty start with some nice grassy hops. Light and elegant, bitter-sweet finish. A simple but well crafted beer, not boring at all.

Süßlich-würziger Geruch. Der Antrunk hat was von süßlichem Waldhonig, sofort kommt eine leicht muffige Herbe ins Bild. Der Hauptteil kann mich auch nicht überzeugen – leicht süßlich-klebrig, dazu malzig-trocken-herb. Auf der Zunge bleibt eine trocken-herbe Note zusammen mit einer merkwürdig malzigen Süße.

Mini keg from Aldi. Cheap f(or Australia: 3.1l, $20). Just hazy orange with a white head that fades. Aroma of lemon, cloves, light bread, a little banana, vanilla. Very light-bodied, sweet grain, vanilla, banana. A bit of wheaty lemony tang, less of a spicy finish than suggested by the aroma. Undistinguished.
