Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Golden coloured with a creamy head. Hoppy with the lemon dominant but not overbearing in both aroma and taste. Has a smooth tasting and very palatable session texture.

500ml bottle from Beer me up Scotty, Shrewsbury. Not entirely sure why it’s called Champagne Ale. No reference on the label. Pretty much tastes like a standard English blonde to me. Not too much going on and pretty forgettable.

Cask @ Roscoe Head, Liverpool. Blonde with a small creamy head. Hops with the pepper evident in both its aroma and taste, but light and never stated. There’s not much sign of the liquorice, but this is a crisp and easy drinking ale all the same.

Cask @ The New Oxford, Salford. It’s a very deep amber colour with a small bubbly head. Mainly a crisp balanced ale, the nugget isn’t that evident in its tastes, but it does have a light smooth texture which is probably a result of. There’s a hint of it in its nose though.

Cask @ Molly House, Manchester. Blonde with a small frothy head. Has a very light and smoothish drinking texture with a small floral sweetness - all down to the pleasant honey infusion which is certainly not overbearing in this ale.

Bottle shared at Chrisso’s May 2014 tasting 25/05/2014. Red / caramel coloured pour with a lasting off white head. Aroma is coco powder, nutty malts and some caramel. Flavour is articial coco, powdery, choc and some stale spicy hop. Palate is powdery on the tongue and very highly carbed.
