Description
Creative brewing is all about not sticking to the same old formula. Since 2008 we have experimented with different combinations of hops and ingredients to find both traditional and excitingly new tasting ales. We brew it with the care and attention we believe it deserves. Finest English malt is the base for all Backyard Brewhouse beers but it does not stop there. Combinations with hops such as New Age American, Old English, Slovenian and New Zealand as well as one or two other secret ingredients have helped make all our beers popular and distinctive. We are committed to creating new and interesting beers to sit alongside our range of core and regular products.

440ml can at Anthony's of Wellington on 29th October 2022. Clean and clear golden body, smooth wine crown on top. Citrusy nose and taste, refreshing and easy to drink, a true 'Session IPA'. There is a hidden sweetness from the malt bill and also the hops are not 'harsh'. Really enjoyed it.

Cask-conditioned at the Plough, Worcester 16/9/2022. Golden in colour, with a frothy, white, head. plenty of juicy citrus character throughout, with a great deal of hop character, slightly biscuity malts and dryish finish.

500ml bottle. Golden colour, white foam head and aroma of straw, hay, citrus hint. Taste is malt, toffee, biscuit, with some straw, hay, and mellow citric bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

440ml can in Anthony's of Wellington on 30th September 2022. Clear and clean golden body. Tropical fruit front to the aroma and taste, some heavy malt action going on behind the scenes, liked it.

440ml can in Anthony's of Wellington on 30th September 2022. New cans from Backyard on the cool shelves, great. This poured a pleasing clear golden colour with a snow white crown on top. Piney, sprucy and tropical fruity in both the nose and taste, really enjoyed it.
