Bottle from Trader Joe's in Davis, CA. Pours orange tinged gold with a few bubbles. Pie spice aroma. Approaching med body. Flavor is pie spice, but I think ginger is dominating. Yes. Ginger. Love ginger! Molasses ginger cookie seems reasonable - tho I'm not sure where the treacle comes from - oh - it's an additive. Good show!

Bottle from Trader Joe's in Davis, CA. Pours dark mahogany with a slight beige head. Aroma is lightly roasty/nutty malt with grass and something else. Med body. Flavor rather matches the aroma, but the carbonation is a bit prickly. Not very sweet, not very bitter. Pretty good flavor tho.

Bottle. Dark brown beer with a tan head. Rich malt and yeast aroma with light spice. Caramel and spice flavor with yeast and dark fruit. Medium bodied. caramel and dark fruit linger with spice and yeast.

Sampled as Petrus Cranberry Rosé , draught Good pink head over deep carmosine beer, lacey. Nice fruity nose, cranberries and other red/pink berries, and some wheat. Lactic acid - lactose? Dry, almost wry as from the cranberries. Nice, absolutely natural sourness, rosehips. Light acidthinning and -burn, good carbonation, light body, fruitslick. Based on... Wittekerke??? That's magic, starting from the dullest of all wits to what is, with the exception of the Petrus Aged Pale the best ever to come from Bavikhove.

This beer smells of pumpkin and pie spices. The flavor is somewhat sweet with spices, pumpkin, malt, alcohol, and mild hops bitterness. Fairly good.

750 c&c from Trader Joe's in Davis, CA. Pours very dark brown with a creamy beige/tan head. Aroma of roasty malt, grass/spice. Approaching full bodied. Flavor matches the aroma; the spice may have some ginger. Tastes very good. Unibroue scores again.

Orangish pour. It smells like corn and malt. The flavor is sweet with corn, other grains, and very minimal hops. This is not a pils. It’s not completely offensive, but bleh. Yes, it’s cheap, but so what? Unless you just want want to get drunk, spending money on bad beer seems pointless.
