First brew rating for this brewery, pounder can for 3.5$. Probably more cabbage and spondulicks for an IPA tick by this cheap ass pale lager lover. Pour is typical hazy IPA, pale and hazy, hehehh. Nice white head fades to a thin bubbly pond scum. Fairly strong IPA hop perfume for an odor, nearly volatile, but it aint. Healthy rude somewhat fruity ipa bitter bite for a first taste. Very soft carbonation. Bitterness really hangs for a while after each swig. Boorish, uncouth, loutish, churlish, rude, coarse, and vulgar for my girlie macro pale lager taste buds. Snooze cruise rototilling action across my tongue and down the food shoot. However, you like IPA? You probably should experience this terribly on style sample. If you come across it, do it. There, you have; straight from the rookie immature beer drinker's pie whole.

On tap at Blackback Pub, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma has plenty of peppery pine, citrus hops, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour has earthy hops, some pine, and bready malt. Seems a bit muddled and not as bright as it could be. Reasonably made but not amazing.

My pint can came from Half Time Beverage in upstate NY. Very cold now, I pour into a chalice glass. The appearance is lemon-orange colored sporting a slim skim of fully white foam. I smell mostly citrus followed by hops and mangoes. A drink gives grapefruit, citrus again but tangerines breaking out, malt, pine and a small hops bitterness. Actually pretty good for a hazy IPA, not really my targeted style. Frost has proven to be a steady brewery in my estimation.

Bottom of the can stamped 07/06/2026.
This was poured into a tulip.
Appearance: hazed over yellowed orange color with a finger and a half's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some moderate lace
Aroma: lemony with a super light whiff of sweet onion and a very light scent of pine; super light clean malts
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to bitter to bittersweet quality with a refined pop of zestiness sliding in underneath; finishes lemony, ever so slightly piney with an underlying mixed citrusy zesty and light dryness
Texture: medium bodied; slightly sessionable; subtle smoothness; good low carb and medium to low hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: pretty nicely done NEIPA worth coming back to.

I have a 16 oz can delivered by Half Time in upstate NY early this year. Great Heights tulip glass in place and I take the pour. I see a mostly hazy yellow-gold body with a moderate top of completely white foam. I take a sniff and find fruit, citrus and tropical, in varying amounts. A drink now, not bad really. Grapefruit, pineapple, a spot of papaya and hops to a lesser degree. I get a plush and full mouthfeel from this beer. Pleasant IPA.

Can poured into a stange.
Appearance: nice looking golden color with mild clarity and a finger and a quarter's worth of white frothy head which dissipated nicely but ended up barely leaving any lace
Aroma: soft biscuity to floral to earthy intertwined qualities with a touch of honey and an even lighter whiff of alcohol which to be honest just seems very inconsistent
Flavor: mostly sweet through the prior noted aromatics and finishes semi-crisp with a slighter heavier lean into the biscuity-ness
Texture: light to medium bodied; very sessionable; very good smoothness with nothing distracting anywhere; good carb level
Overall: I say a very nicely done Kolsch I would very much love to return to.

Reviewed from notes.
Bottle to nonic glass.
Appearance: dark brown color with a finger and a half of eggshell white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet maple tones; sweet & toasty nuts, subtle vanilla, slight coffee notes; honey, slight chocolate and a little bit of sweet earthy tones
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a beautiful variety of different sweet aspects; finishes nutty, maple-y with a super subtle dryness
Texture: light to medium bodied; sessionable; absolutely lovely how smooth this beer is along the tongue and possibly one of the factors of how I loved this beer so much over the years
Overall: what a lovely brown ale I love to revisit every Spring since they started brewing it and it has never changed once they started putting this in cans.
