12 oz bottle. The beer is a tannish orange color. Small fizzy off white head. Dissipates to nothing after 30 seconds or so. The aroma is quite nice. Mix of wine barrel, orange and sour with mild funk. The orange blends into the vinous flavor much better than expected. Moderate amount of wood, sour is a mix of vinegar and yogurt. Taste is a bit more acidic than I’d like, but the flavor is all there and nice enough. The funk gets a little oddly cheesy in the finish, nothing too crazy though. Light with a little bit of body to it. Big pucker. The sour blonde base is a bit much for my taste, and the orange probably doesn’t help, but the flavors are quite pleasant outside of that.

Bottle from Jane’s. Pours out a bright orange/golden with small bubbly head, which fades to a ring. And then there’s the hops...how appropriate there’s a bomber on the label, as I felt as if my palate just got carpet bombed by the Equinox and Galaxy. Dank and funky, strong hoppy aroma and taste. I like big IPAs, and this one is large. Big hop monster to sip and enjoy.

Intense chocolate covered raisin nose with plenty of barrel. Sweet, bitter, malty & roasty taste. Decadent mouthfeel. Huge & tasty!

750 ml bottle at home thanks to Mike!! Black color with beige brown head. Malty aroma, roasted , chocolate, light coffee, mocha, dark dried fruits, vanilla, alcohol, wood. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

On tap. Pours a clear copper with moderate head. Aromas of tropical fruit a little spice and toasted malts. Favours of tropical fruit, light pine, muddled stoned fruit, and doughy toasted malts. Very nice

Bottle at tasting. Murky dark brown pour. Aroma of pumpkin spice, mild tart, red fruit, vanilla and malt. Taste has soft tart, smooth vanilla, bourbon booze, pumpkin spice, cinnamon and red fruit. Very probably infected, but this infection worked out quite nice.

Tap at Cap Tap. Pours dark brown/black with a tan head. Aroma is chocolate and something that could be brandy. Full bodied. Flavor is earthy chocolate, dark malt and something that is definitely brandy. Maybe a touch of musty wood. Very smooth. Very drinkable. However, I’m not sure brandy works as well with this much chocolate as whiskey would. Pretty nice drink tho. I’m thinking a calvados barrel would run this stuff right over the top. Finishes with brandy and chocolate. Dang near quaffable.

2013 Heaven Hill at 13.8%. Tap at Cap Tap. Pours dark brn/blk with a dark tan head. Aroma is mostly whisky. Some dark malt and maybe coffee underneath. Full bodied at least. Flavor starts whiskey, moves to dark malt and maybe coffee or chocolate and then it’s clean tasty whisky. Must have been fresh barrels. Beginning to think coffee is here, and I’m sure there’s chocolate, but it’s mostly dark malt and a "clean" whiskey. Delicious.

750ml shared by Ben. Probably the most chai forward beer I’ve ever had and the best chai beer at that. Murky brown body. Faint oily residue of a head. Drinks pretty easy considering the ABV. Almost like a liqueur though too. The bourbon and chai interplay is great.
