Description
Hangar 24 began its craft brewing exploration with a true passion for good beer, the absolute love of flying and the pure enjoyment of being around great friends. My buddies and I used to meet at hangar No. 24 at the Redlands Municipal Airport, after an afternoon of flying, to trade stories, talk aviation, play music and share a few cold ones that were recently home brewed. These days, the location of where the beers are brewed has changed, but the quality time spent enjoying a delicious, handcrafted beer and conversation with friends is the same as ever. I personally want to invite you to join the adventure. Cheers! Ben Cook.

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours coppery gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is tropical/herbal/citrus and maybe a little bit of earth (or it could just be approaching dank). Med + body. Flavor is tropical and citrus. Think it has a zest aspect. Lots of hop. Fairly dry. Pretty bitter! Lots of hop. Might serve as a preservative solution! Good stuff.

Tap at Cap Tap. Label on keg is "2013". ABV at 13.8%. Pours dark dark brn/blk witha dark tan head. Aroma is chocolate rye? Not quite but nearly full bodied. Flavor is really chocolate and dark malt, and the rye whiskey is really strongly present. The heat is merely a nice flavor adjunct. I don’t think I can write too many good things about this. Delicious. Excellent. Goes very well with pretzels. Recommended for consumption while listening to Yellow Submarine. As the brain submerges into beer ecstasy.

12oz bottle pours with a crystal clear gold body that supports a white head. The aroma offers up soft grapefruit, clementine and malts with a quick hit of spicy hops out at the edges. The taste delivers a nice grapefruit and tangerine citrus hop bite and then it heads into a modest malt sweetness to midway. Pretty nice bitter hop session beer that attains an adequate body to keep it cohesive.

12oz bottle at my Son-in-Laws place in Orange County on 24th Jan 2017. Really enjoyed this. Brass like amber colour with not much of a head. Malty molasses rule the nose and flavour with caramel notes winning over slight toffee esters and hints. Nice balance, but still too sweet for some people, just right for me.
