Not on vid, but based on checklist. Smell- citrus, yeast but weak. Foam- thin, bit of sour start, then some citrus, bit weird, finishes with nonalco feel. Head is kind of medium, white and seems quite fine. Appearance- hazy yellow, some carbonation, but not too much. Seems to stick to sides. Taste- citrus, weak sour-ish start, now getting some wheat and non-alco wibes, cit of carrot feel? some sweetness. Seems messy.

Never rated this. Surprising. Creamy, bit of wheat, bit of herbs, bit of citrus. Not as boring as I'd expected, but not so exciting. Bottle from a friend. Thanks again Kosuke! Amber/brown colour with small golden head. Aroma is fruity, bit of caramel, bready malt, quite sweet and boozy. Taste is similar, boozy fruit, maybe plums, caramel sweetness, but initially there is a big booze kick which is a bit off-putting. After this fades the taste is alright, but maybe still a bit booze dominated, almost sherry-like. Basically, a bit of a cliche of a Belgian beer. Just a bit of sourness in aroma and taste. Vinous, apple and grape juice. Just a hint of hops and some honey. Refreshing but not entirely convincing.

Strong aroma of honey, yeast, banana an d sweet oranges. Sweet, fruity and spicey taste. Slightly bitter and yeasty finish. Still a good beer, but not as good as 15-20 years ago, when teh brewery was still small and was owned by Celis. In those days the beer was only available irregularly in the Locus Publicus pub in Delft. At its peak, the beer was magic. When Interbrew took over, the beer got a more constant quality. But on the whole the quality diminished slightly, i'm afraid.

aroma: citrus, yeast taste: fruity, malty, long bitter finish with coreander Re-rate: wheaty, somewhat herbal aroma and flavor. Hops are also there. Not too refined and a bit sweetish, and I couln't find any citrus. Still a tasty beer. Alcohol present, but not too apparent. Nice beer, but lacks the depth this beer once had.

Aroma of malt and chocolate. Slight tartness. Roasted malt in the taste, together with chocolate, fruit (raisins) hops and a slight porto burn. Bitter finish. Very well brewed beer, fairly complex, but surprisingly easy to drink. Re-rate: Some peach fruit and malt in the aroma. Sweetish flavor with some roasted malt and peach fruit in the flavor. Bitter aftertaste. Has lost complexity. 8,5% on the label.

Honey color, cloudy, creamy head. Lemon aroma. Lemon and grape juice flavor. Rather poor lacing. Just a bit herbal, but the fruit dominates. Full bodied.
