Original rating 7.6 from old notes (around 2000). Rerated 140517 and 200112. Hazy pale golden colour, average frothy white head, recedes slowly, nice lacing. Aroma wheat, hay, coriander, lemon, dough. Light sweet-and-sour taste, wheat, lemony, light body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, citrus and some dough in the finish.

It's not the tastiest fruit beer I've had, even for the strength. It's solid though and has a pleasant fresh taste. Very guzzleable.

Pours hazy yellow with a thick white head. Aroma of coriander and wheat. Taste has citrus, coriander, little bit of spice. Palate has coriander on the nose, bold citrus. Very good.

A bottle as Julius 54 BC. A murky, golden beer a head is medium and blond. Aroma has generic fruitness, spicyness, some banana. Taste has fruitness, spicyness, the strenght can be noticed but it's not bothering. Medium bodied. Basic, but good.

hazy golden beer, white head. bready, zesty smell with a bit of the alcoholic strength coming in too. It's a good wheaty pale but it doesn't do much that feels that different to the normal Hoegaarden (which isn't a bad thing!) other than tasting that little bit stronger. One to be careful with!

Hazy golden beer, thick white head. Nice floral, fruity flavour with a bit of bitter hop. Sweet and zesty and a little savoury breadiness too. Very nice and doesn't taste the strength.

Appearance is golden, cloudy, a 1-finger fizzy white head. Aroma is Belgian yeast, banana, orange, spicy, trace of raisin and dark fruit, boozy fruitcake. Taste- fluffy wheaty malt, banana, sugary fruit, orange peel, hop bitterness. Full mouthfeel. Good stuff.
