US Pint can at Benny’s place, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a lasting frothy white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is lemon lime citrus, grainy. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, fresh, light mineral chalky, juicy lemon citrus, super light boozy, light herbal, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Over medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Can that I think that I picked up from an online order with Mr Hop webshop Venray Netherlands. This formed part of the curated advent calendar box I did for Loz, had this at our hotel 2l de Blend, Utrecht, Thursday 8th January 2026 after a long train journey from Plattling today. Pours dark brown actually is it? Nah think it's black with a small beige head. On the nose and in the mouth, roasty malt, chocolate, I was sure that I could detect a barrel aged element but certainly not according to the can. There's a nice mouthfeel, slight thickness, chocolate and also caramel, perhaps a little bit sweet but certainly not in Vault City territory. Score 7.5

From beerolution, april 2024, serving us this can, two days ago, at home with a tasty bourguignonne fondue. As usual, it is a solid neipa, tasty, smooth and sweet, tropical fruit, lychee, note of oat and malt, light carbonation, citrus and bitter.

Pours hazed blonde. Small to small medium white head. Scent is orznge, dank, but also very raw malty, grainy, specifically reminding le of munich malts. Taste is full, quite vitter - obviously nothing extreme, being a pale ale. Rhe malts really do pop, a whole lot more than i anticipated - but i like it quite a bit ! Medium body, medium to medium high carbo. Smooth! Doensnt taste old by any means, but missed that very expressive burst of freshness. It is imported, so i guess it could be that, but it could also be the expressive maltyness surpressing the hoppy notes a bit. Either way, a very pleasant one.

Can from Stacks. >1 yr old. Hazy ochre, small, foamy, off-white head. Aroma of overripe mango, melon, tangerine, orange peel, biscuit, apricot jam, cheese rind, sweat. Taste has sweetish melon, mango & apricot in a biscuity, fruit cake-like malt body, bit dank & sweaty. Floral hops in the finish, bittersweet orange peel and biscuit. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Past its best, but still acceptable.
