US Pint can at Benny’s Place, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a light hazy yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is grainy, tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter, with a smooth, fresh, somewhat light, juicy tropical citrus, mango, pineapple, light hop bitter palate. Tasty but rather sweet and more like a fruit beer than an IPA. Tasty, but I wouldn’t want a whole can. Where is the alcohol? If this is really 10% it’s dangerous 🤪

Did a double take when I saw this on the shelf. Pounder can that pours like any other clear pale lager with a white foamy head. Mild cream corn pale lager nose. Taste has a little more personality than yer typical macro pale lager, uniquely bolder character. Comes across quite flat on the palate. Yes, probably could be styled as a premium pale lager. Getting some processed off bitterness in the middle, hard to shake off that attribute. Just a tad of phenolic attitude, just barely. Not bad overall, but as a connoisseur of macro pale lager, I can get much better and more refreshing pale macro pale lagers for about one fifth the price. LoL - There, you have it.

Hazy pink amber with minimal head. Apple, plum, wheat malt, salt, and straw aroma. Mildly sweet apple, wheat malt, moderately sour citric acid, mildly salty, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Okay body.

a: rich dark brown coloured body | oily lighter brown head
a: smoked meats | molasses | deep spices
f: brown sugars | canella | coconutty finish
t: smoked grains | creamy | thick everything (alcohol/malts/spices)
o: rich...still | slightly hidden alcohol (aged well!) | complex flavour profile throughout - and very enjoyable!

16 ounce can | K-1 Beer & Wine (Shop): Arlington (Columbia Pike), Virginia | 13-March-2021 | US$7,49 | canned: 26-January-2021 | sampled: 17-July-2026, a bit longer than five years after purchase (and canning, of course), although if I had another one, I'd wait another 3/5 years on this one to see if it mellows out even more!

16 oz can. Aroma is chalky, vanilla, overripe citrus peel, alcohol. Pours murky orange with a two finger orange-ish white pillowy head with excellent retention. Taste has a moderate pithy bitterness backed by significant sweetness from the milk sugar, malt and vanilla. First sip is extreme with boozy alcohol seeming over the top initially, but I acclimated to it pretty quickly and really started to enjoy it. It’s a grower *and* a shower.

Murky yellow with a large white head that left good lacing. Leafy and citric with a fairly strong cat pee element. Long cat pee finish. Medium body.
