Poured from a 16 oz can. Aroma has lots of hop character with a medium light, cracker malt backbone. Hops are mango, papaya, melon and a bit of a dank, pine resin note. Some light citrus as well. Pours a murky, pale, golden orange with a medium sized, thick frothy, white head that shows good retention as it slowly recedes. Medium high lacing and medium small legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with some cracker malt notes and a touch of bread. Medium high bitterness with a hint of alcohol spice. Medium high hop notes with quite a bit of fruit. Lots of mango, melon, and other tropical fruit with some light citrus. Medium resinous hop note with a bit of pine. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, another nice, very hop forward IPA from Hoof Hearted. Nice fruity hop notes with balanced citrus and resin character as well. Malt backbone works well to support the hops without overshadowing.

Thanks Joel.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a hazy burnt yellow color with a thin glaze of white head. Speckled lacing occurs after dissipation.
The smell starts off with the normal sweet bready qualities of a Tripel and a light Belgian spice. Then the bitterness of citrus rind hits and blends nicely.
Follows up with a dry floral quality.
The taste takes the bitterness level just a tad further into the make up of the Belgian qualities of a Tripel. Sweet bready aftertaste leads into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs fairly light. Bitterness combines with the breadiness on my tongue really nicely, gets a little dry but hey, good for the most part.
Overall, third beer from Hoof Hearted I like what these guys are doing. I’d have this again.

This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a black as hell ink color. A thin white rim of a foamy head clings around the side of the glass. Delicately dissipates and forms speckled lacing around the glass.
The smell had a huge sweet dark cocoa bean combining with sweet melon/honeydew. Light citrus intertwines in and around the aroma.
The taste wraps up together the aromas tightly and leads to a sticky aftertaste. Smooth on the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation rides fairly low. Sticky sweetness on the mouthfeel. ABV is well hidden.
Overall, whoah, where did this come from? I wasn’t expecting this little surprise. Fans of black ales should be wishlisting this.

Thanks Joel (boatsandhoes on talkbeer).
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a pale hazy grapefruit rind color with a thin finger-ed white foamy head that dissipated nicely. Semi-sticky lacing clings on one side of the glass.
The smell takes in subtle danky onion laying down a dry bitter to sweet oaty take over some sweet citrus pulp.
The taste was basically the same bringing about the bitterness a bit stronger in the citrus. Definitely a dry bitter aftertaste and really dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionable feel to it. Leans probably more towards a sipping feel. Bitterness feels good.
Overall, its a pretty good DIPA, definitely a dry one. I could see myself coming back to this.

The beer is an orangey yellow gold and completely clouded over. Another wonderfully thick looking hoppy beer from Hoof Hearted. Large white head, lots of lacing and excellent retention. The aroma is chock full of sweet hoppiness, mostly tropical fruit action. Big on kiwi, melon, peach, pineapple, strawberry, candied grapefruit, tangerine. It’s wonderful and has lots of fun complexity. I think Cellarmaker has conditioned me to like Mosaic blends. Taste has that sweet fruitiness and a big dank hoppy note. Just a touch of pale malt. Super juicy. It’s like a kiwi, cantaloupe and grapefruit smoothie. Moderate bitterness, still firm enough to clean things up and let you know that you’re drinking hop juice. Light but full feel. Fairly astringent, which I like. Super easy to drink. I’m a big fan of HH.

Purchased a 500 ml bottle from Spruce Creek Provisions, Kittery. The color is dark unclear brown with very little head or lacing. Aroma is interesting; bold coffee right up front with rotten fruit and Belgian yeast.

Honestly, the flavor is a spot on copy of the aroma. The yeast and the mild funky fruit starts the flavor with a moderate amount of lingering coffee after the sip. Body leans of the fuller side of medium with a chewy yeast texture. I am a lover of coffee infused brews but this is rather lack luster. Bad blend of bean? I hope the IPA’s are not over-hyped because I am dying to try them.

Sample at the High Gravity Hullabaloo on 02/06/2016. The beer is a slightly hazy bright golden color with a medium white head that recedes steadily to a film. Sticky strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of herbal yeast, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of tropical fruit, yeast, doughy malt and mild grassy hops. The finish is fruity yeast and hops aftertaste. Solid beer all around.
