Tap at tegobi. Billboa. A clear bright orange amber coloured pour with a sticky fine beige head. Aroma is semi sweet, brown sugars, cinnamon, stale breads apple turnover, butterscotch. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty malts, apple, earthy grains. Little savoury. Palate is semi sweet, light tang, mellow carbonation. Ok.

Bottle 0.33l from Malaga, six years aged! Very dark red to black colored. AROMA- chocolate, liqueur, pralines, cocoa nibs. FLAVOR- silky, slightly sweet, warming, slightly bitter, liqueur, pralines, cocoa nibs. Fuller to full bodied. Really good, not great.

Bouteille 33cl, du x-mas pack, merci Anna et Carles. BB 05/11/2022.
Couleur ambre léger voile, col crémeux blanc cassé assez tenace.
Arôme me replonge de suite dans les grandes DIPA américaines - flash-back d'au moins 15ans - rappelant les gros DIPA de Stone et consorts. C'est malté avec une pointe fine d'épicé venant du seigle. Rétro est sur un houblonné offrant des effluves agrumes/pamplemousse et de pin avec un léger bouquet sirupeux qui arrive en rétro-nasal.

Palais est sur une base classique US - caramel pâle avec de suite un houblonné tout autant classique virant sur les C-Hops - ici, un Centennial (je suppose) qui apporte sa dose de dank et de pin/résineux. Léger boozy, amertume qui tranche bien avec une petite note d’agrumes/pamplemousse sur la fin tout en gardant le côté pin dominant. Note de booze sur la fin mais qui passe bien. Fini légèrement collant aux lèvres.

BAM. Intense, bitter, upfront. Roasted coffee, roasted chocolate, roasted malt, roasted stout. Full disclosure, I didn't need this last night.

Clear golden with a huge off-white head. Aroma: wheat, lemon peel and floral hops. Taste: lemony and grainy. Dry finish.

Dorada clara de buena espuma. Resinosa en el aroma. Cítrica en boca, frutal en boca, seca y de amargor notable y resinoso.

Bottle at The Golden Garden Coffee, roasted malts, bit of iodium, licorice, fairly bitter, slightly dry. Very lightly barreled, as if someone in the next room thought really hard about bourbon barrels, but left the idea there. Base beer ok. Purchased at The Golden Garden

bottle from beerbay online shop pours clear dark brown, light brown bubbly head. aroma is roasted malts, caramel, faint tofffee, faint chocolate, very well balanced hopping, good balance, very nice and clean imperial stout aroma. a little bit on the mild end of the spectrum, but clean and balanced. flavor is sweet roasted malty, brown sugar, little bit of chocolate, chili or peppery bite, end is a bit more roasted malty. the bitterness might become a little bit herbal hoppy towards the end, but overall the experience is near perfect old-scool imperial stout.
