Description
Nestled in the heart of Newcastle in an old victorian railway arch, Errant is a hidden gem in Newcastle's industrial playground. Tucked in amongst mechanics and fitness studios it's a hardworking brewhouse. Under the near-constant hammering of the trains above Tom and Martyn are working to bring their pride and joy beers to Newcastle's pubs.

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Covent Garden, London, 20 Nov 2019) Dark brown colour, almost black, with frothy beige head. Malty, roasted, fruity nose with coffee, cherries, caramel, dark chocolate and toasted coconut. Malty, roasted taste with notes of chocolate, coffee, cherries, cacao and mild coffee bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Chocolate cherry cake, tasty. Nice one.

440ml can @ Tap and Can, last pub visit thanks to Corona. Hazed golden yellow, large white head. Aroma presents pleasant tropical hop fruit. Taste is smooth, gentle with stone fruit hints, nicely balanced, not too sweet or fruity, good drinkability. Nice.

440ml can @ Tap and Can, shared with Simon and Joel. Would've went well with Pixies. Pours a hazed yellow, large white head. Punchy tropical nose. Taste is particularly juicy, presenting good tropical grapefruit interplay alongside hazed textures and a moderately dry finish. Nicely drinkable. Good stuff.
