Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 17th November 2019. Rated as a novelty ale. Sepia black with tan foam and scant lacing. Roasty aroma with sweet cherry. The in-mouth taste is of roasty malts and glacé cherries. A very sweet finish of sugared cherry and maltiness. A fair bit of body and a smooth mouthfeel.

Light and gose, not an obvious combo but it works. Saltiness comes through at the back with some tart tropical fruit. Crisp and fresh and very tasty for the strength.

Like citrus in aroma. More salt than pepper in the taste. In fact salt dominates. Nice, but think they had the name first.
