Cask at Lady Grey’s, Newcastle on 21st August 2020. Rated as a novelty ale. Deep sepia with shallow tan foam and spot lacing. Chocolate, aniseed and mint aroma. A distinct taste of After Eights (TM) in-mouth and during finish. Smooth mouthfeel and medium body. I did not like this beer at all, but managed to finish it. However doubtless there are those who’ll love it. And let them.
