Description
We produce beautifully balanced beers. We blend the contemporary with the traditional to produce flavoursome craft beers. Check our webshop for the latest releases (UK wide) or swing by our great taproom for beers, food and more.

We produce beers across the spectrum. Our first and core beers will be unashamedly British, but we savour beers from across the world and relish the opportunity to offer our interpretations. Built on a foundation of quality and consistency our beautiful little brewery in Teesdale will be delivering beers across the North East… and beyond.

Cask at GBBF ‘19, day 3, 08/08/19. Lightly hazed golden blonde with a decent off white cap. Nose is straw, lemon zest, yeast esters, grass. Taste comprises lemon drizzle, straw, breads, light herb, honey, yeast trace, faint spice. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent refreshing Belgian number.

Keg at the portobello tap. Pours golden, nose is toffee, banana, taste is similar, sweet.

On keg at the Portobello Tap. Appearance - hazy golden orange. Generous fluffy head. Nose - candied pineapple and white pepper. Taste - oats, light tang but not as noticeably saison as on the nose. Palate - tangy and light to medium bodied with a dry tangy finish. Overall - decent.

Cask at ORB , Darlington. Deep chestnut brown colour with a reddish tinge, beige foam head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of roast malt, coffee, chocolate. Taste is sweetish, roasted malt, coffee, milk chocolate, cocoa, dark fruity with tangy bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry roasty bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Keg at Big Mash Up Beer Festival, Steam Machine Brewery, Newton Aycliffe. Golden amber colour, white foam head leaving some lacing and aroma of grains, light fruity. Taste is tangy, grains, bready, hay, straw, yeasty with grassy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft to medium carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite drinkable

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell, London, 27 July 2019) Pale amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of citrus, orange and apricots. Malty, fruity taste with apricots, orange marmalade, soft malt and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced.

Keg at the White Rabbit, Brighton. Pours light gold with a small head. Aroma is wheaty coriander. Taste has Belgian yeast esters and wheaty coriander.

Tried at the York Beer Festival. Thanks Danlo. Deep golden colour with thick white head. Malty caramel and and citrus flavour with a touch of Belgian yeast. Fairly dry taste.
