16 oz. can. Pours black, with a big, foamy, tan head. The nose is chicory, butter toffee, light pine, walnut, and a bit of coconut. Sweet and roasty and yeasty, with a mellow, sticky bitterness. Medium body, chewy, and sticky. Bold, balanced, and nicely done.

Can split with Timmy. Pours a muddy, brown color, with a small, tan head. The aroma is roasted marshmallows, pecan, dark chocolate, and espresso. Sweet and malty, with a mild, earthy bitterness. Medium body, malty, and a bit thin. Fun and focused. Solid.

I have a pint can from a Total Wine in Albuquerque. Bow & Arrow not widely available, glad to find one I have not had before. My ABGB snifter beckons, I pour. I see a lemonade colored body supported by a consistent cover of fully white foam. I smell citrus, tropical and grain, not unusual for the style. And the taste, not bad for a style I am not crazy for. Grapefruit, tangerines to a small degree, grain, some appreciated hoppiness for a surprise and a peach sweetness. Rather pleasant.

Pint can. Peach aroma with notes of apricot, nectarine, orange, grapefruit, tangerine and floral hops. Pours hazy golden colored with a finger of white head that has excellent retention and good lacing. Starts with juicy peach, apricot, orange and tangerine flavors. Finishes smooth but dry with nectarine, grapefruit and floral hop flavors. Very nice hazy.

This 16 oz can was found at Total Wine in Albuquerque a few months ago. Bow & Arrow is an interesting brewery, lots of IPAs, some of them rather good. Cowtown tulip glass catches the pour, I determine a hazy pale yellow body topped by a powerful head of snow white foam. The nose is pleasant enough, citrus, tropical fruit and a whiff of hops, nothing extraordinary. But now the taste and I can say it is good. Dried apricots, guava, crackers, malt, plenty of hops and an accompanying bitterness, grain, a touch of pineapple and likewise with grapefruit. Hazy style is not my favorite but this beer is a proper example. And the label reflects the brewery's ownership, nice touch.

Sample at Denver Rare Beer Tasting XVI (Last Call) on 10/09/2025. Clear golden pour with a medium frothy bone white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Strings of lace. Aroma of funky yeast, stone fruit, malt and hops. Medium body with flavors of oak, funky yeast, fruit, doughy malt and mild hops. The finish is funky and fruity with an herbal yeast aftertaste. Pretty good beer all around.
