Bottle from Anna. Tusen takk! Light floral nose. Plain, see through caramel colour until the sediment came out and then it became thicker. An English leaning bodied pale ale with more Continental hops. Pilsner vibes to it for sure. (17/10/2024).

Bottle. Great beer after a long day hiking. 6.1 to 6.4. (12/6/2025).

I wasn't impressed at first but then I realized that the simplicity is its major strength. It does what it needs in a subtle but refreshing way. Lots of yeast, lively carbonation.

Only 52% local malts, which is a shame because Stjørdal is famous for their unique malts, usually smoked. Sad that the only commercial brewery in the area wouldn't embrace that for their Stjørdalsøl rendition. Lacklustre, plain, boring smoke.

On tap at Bryggerifestivalen. A mostly unclear brown beer, some lacing. The aroma is lightly peated and burnt, with roasted malts and toffee. It's full-bodied and softly carbonated, some of cardboardy mouthfeel. Some bitterness. Toffee, roasted malts and some burnt and peated hints in the flavor, with some kveik-like earthyness. A bit strange this one, nice, but still not sure. A small glass was enough. 240801

On tap at Bryggerifestivalen. A mostly unclear brown beer with a dense, finger-thick beige head. Roasted malts, some burnt notes and alcohol, a vague hint of smoke and some dark dried fruit in the aroma. It's full-bodied and semi-dry on the palate, still with a nice sweetness, and a light bitterness. Roasted malts, dark chocolate and some burnt notes in the flavor. Hints of smoke, burnt malts, dark dried fruit and alcohol. Medium length finish. Really clever smoke level here, and in general a very fine beer. 240801

Takk til Brynes Langtransport for denne 0,5 flasken! Klar kobbergylden med fint skum som varer. Deilig maltsmak med litt citrus, furunål, urter og et (meget) diskret hint av røyk. Fin bitterhet og høy ff.
