Temporary rating: Shared 500 ml bottle, "Cardinal Edition", at Mandag i Annen, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 7.2%. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of sea water and seaweed, on a roasty background. Smooth roasty flavour. Will rerate when I have a full bottle shortly.

500 ml bottle, temporary label, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.7%. Slightly hazy amber colour, large white head. Nice hoppy aroma, hints of grapefruit and pine, also a little caramel. Smooth mouthfeel. Hoppy flavour, again grapefruit, pine and caramel. Medium bitterness, not extreme for an IPA.

500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.5%. Very dark brown colour, moderate off-white to beige head. Moderate aroma of malts and brown bread. Malty flavour, plenty of moderately roasted malts, notes of wood and burnt breadcrumbs. Not very sweet. Medium bitter finish. Okay, but not much complexity nor smoothness. Not Klostergården’s best beer.

Light unclear pale yellow color with a fine white head. Nice fresh aroma with a spruce and pors. Maybe a bit thin palate. Anyway a fine bitterness and a moderate sweetness. Soft to average carbonation. Nice tasty flavor for a forest freak. You can feel the forest squeeze your throat. Nice one.
