Description
We are a modern craft brewery and tap room founded in 2014 in Rivington. Focusing on innovative modern styles, while drawing inspiration from the past.

Our inspiration comes from the world over, but our focus is very much local. We concentrate on making the best beer in styles we love, for the people in our local communities. Our passion for the North West is paid back tenfold. We have local landlords who buy whatever we make, no matter the style - from barleywine to grisette - we’re really lucky that so many places support us because they like our beers, and their customers love to try anything local. The people we look up to are all the brewers who are never content with the beers that they’re making - you can always be better.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Near clear gold beer, small and short lived bubbly off white head. Light palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Thin bodied pale malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Light cooling pine. A fair amount of hop grass and skunk. Nice Nectaron honeyish mango and stone fruits. A mild but persistent hop spice nibble. Mild citrus underneath. Dry crisp hop spicy finish. Great flavour profile on this dipa, the mouthfeel a tad dry and thin.

On tap at Patrick's. Tropical as fuck, almost funky. Perhaps a bit much on the ripe fruit side. Nice indeed though. 747414 250819

500ml can. Pours black with a dark brown head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon. Taste of sweet chocolate and vanilla, plenty of chillis and cinnamon, decent amount of chilli heat too though it's not overbearing, muscovado sugar, dark malts, molasses, some bitter roast. Full bodied, smooth.

Can. A mild haze on this gold beer, decent bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, a good fine minerally crispness. Thinnish bodied malts, a malt sweetness that stays in the background and lets and the hops do their thing. Crisp cooling pine. A mild bitterness and a little hop spice pep. Thought the Audacia hops would get lost in here but, their complex floral flavour is very much evident, especially on the back end. Motueka floralness adds to the mix, not that limey here. Strata adds a tangy fruitiness that provides a decent contrast to the other hops, although not for the first time, I found the alleged passion fruit character of this hop elusive. Interesting, refreshing and quaffable IPA overall
