Description
We are a modern craft brewery and tap room founded in 2014 in Rivington. Focusing on innovative modern styles, while drawing inspiration from the past.

Our inspiration comes from the world over, but our focus is very much local. We concentrate on making the best beer in styles we love, for the people in our local communities. Our passion for the North West is paid back tenfold. We have local landlords who buy whatever we make, no matter the style - from barleywine to grisette - we’re really lucky that so many places support us because they like our beers, and their customers love to try anything local. The people we look up to are all the brewers who are never content with the beers that they’re making - you can always be better.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, good bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Somewhat thin bodied pale malts, a decent but, commensurately thin creamy sweetness. Soft cooling pine. Enigmatic Eggers presenting some Nelson grapey vibes here along with a touch of Sorachi ripe lemon and herb. Ripe lychee and a very light hop spice. The white winey vibe gets much stronger towards the end. Is Eggers the new NS? Or perhaps the better question is is Eggers the hop tha NS used to be? Either way, enigmatic Eggers wins the day again. Something of a Chameleon hop for me.

Can. 2025 version, same hops. Hazy orange gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, a little dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light bodied but smooth pale malts provide a mild to medium sweetness. Slightly savoury and mildly bitter savoury skunk along with the ubiquitous cooling pine. Hop fruits come through on the back end but are somewhat suppressed. No real Idaho 7 brightness, same for Galaxy. No Nelson at all. Just a slightly pithy rounded. hop citrus. Finishes light and semi dry. It's fine but never got me the least bit excited.
