Bottle @Ulfborg Tasting. Hazy brown, light beige head. Aroma has notes of sherry, sour, wood, slightly vinous. Rough, sour flavour, sherry, nuts. Hmmm.

Can from J's shared at CB. Pours a deep brown with a small bit of head that dissipates. Fantastic rich, coffee forward nose that goes on and on. Watered down coffee on the palate, faint plum and muted chocolate. Thin, without much body or character. Almost no finish, abv hidden well though. Great nose though.

On tap at P&P Charleston. Dark brown with medium light brown head. Aroma is nice bourbon, medium body, medium carbonation, and some lacing. Taste is lighter bourbon and dark malt. A little light for the style.

Keg at Black Bear Morgantown. Can't tell which Living Proof Sour this is, so placing it here as the most rated and similar ABV (6.5). Hazy golden. Tart stone fruit, phenols, pale malt. Peach, pear. Taste is vinegar, lemon, peach, funk. Thin. Solid.

On tap at Paducah Beer Werks, pours a hazy amber with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out toasted nuts and a hint of caramel. Flavour is light and malty, with toasted caramel, bready notes and a little toffee. Not a lot of depth, with a rather flat body. Decently balanced and drinkable though.

tap at Country Boy in May 2017 - Pours black and has a big, bourbon heavy aroma with roast malt, chocolate, hops. The flavor is a bold kick in the teeth with loads of roasted malt and hops bitterness. It's resinous as hell but the bourbon and other flavors are intense enough to keep up with it. Very full body. Long finish. This one is definitely a sipper. Exceptional.
