Enjoyed on our trip to Maine, April 2018. Pours a clean golden colour with a white cap and light lace. Caramel base aromas with banana notes. Taste of brown malts with herbal bitterness some smokey wood hints from the mandarina hops.

Enjoyed on our trip to Maine, April 2018. Dark brown colour, almost black, beige creamy nitro head, everlasting with good lace. Nice roasted malt aromas with chocolate notes and dark fruits, hints of coffee. The mouthfeel is creamy. Roasted malt flavours with some light sweetness from the maple syrup, but mostly the coffee that stays after the finish. Pretty good but wish the maple was stronger.

Pours a hazy, golden-yellow, with small, but lasting cap of foamy white head. Aroma is dank, with notes of sour washcloth, some tropical and citrus fruit. Flavor has tropical and citrus fruit elements, some hop-pine bitterness at the finish. Solid NE-style DIPA.

Can, undated, drunk 12/31/18.
Dark ebony, undetermined clarity. Tan head quickly fades to nothing.
Nose is VERY fruity and by fruity I mean heavy glue-like alcohol and other esters. Dull roast with some vanilla and no sweetness of any kind. Kind of just smells like glue, old coffee and ash.
In the mouth it has a slightly acetone-tinged, glue-like character with a weird fruitiness and is fully attenuated, with little body and no sweetness left. Dull and bland with moderate alcohol and stale coffee notes on the end. If this is infected, I'd think it'd be heavily carbonated, which it's the opposite of. Yet it's fully attenuated and very alcoholic. Soft, slick texture. Just not much here with the strange fruitiness and light glue lingering. Dumped it down the drain after two sips. Will try again.

16 oz. can. Coconut is mild, chocolate-like center with the coconut subtle in the finish. Body is strong for a porter. Overall, obviously the barrel aged version is better. But this is still decent.

16 oz. can. Clea gold appearance. Flavor of grass clippings, grain and yeast with a thin bready malt underneath. Mostly dry finish. Body is light and texture is watery. Plenty of zippy carbonation. Not a ton going on here.

Sample during the "New England Beer & Food Tasting" on 07/14/2018. Hazy golden color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to a wispy film. Short strings of lace. Citrus, hops and malt in the nose. Light to medium body with flavors of herbal hops, grapefruit and roast malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short citrusy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Can, undated, drunk 9/21/18.
Glassy-to-cloudy, pineapple-brass-golden body topped with an off-white head that quickly fizzles away.
Lacto-coconut with lemon, pineapple and mango joining in quickly, shows a very fruity, lightly tart nose. Tons of wheat below it, balancing nicely. Very nice mix of tropical fruits that complement the lactic acidity well.
Lactic acid is again fairly strong, though fairly well integrated, in the flavor. Pineapple-lime-mango and coconut are fruity, well-attenuated and enjoyable. Great stuff; dry, tart, fruity, flavorful. Maybe a touch too much lactic acidity, but that's mostly nitpicking. Not intensely juicy, but it's better to err on the side of drier, anyways. Soft-to-slick, wheat-and-malt-forward texture with moderate, engaging carbonation and no alcohol or flaw.
