A humble brewery making honest beer.

After years honing our skills in the brewing and process industry, we set forth to create a brewery with a simple mission; to produce honest beer. The result is a 7,000bbl brewery located in Northern Vermont that is capable of brewing any style of ales and lagers. The brewery takes inspiration from lesser known European beer styles, along with local Vermont life to guide our brews. The attention to detail, modern equipment, and love for beer help produce truly authentic, unique beers. Cheers!

Drank from the 16 oz. can at Brooklyn Bowl, Las Vegas, NV. One of the fruitiest IPA flavors I've had. Hoppy flavor but light bitterness for an IPA.

Appearance: Hazy yellow colour with a white head.
Aroma: Citrus, tropical fruit, grapefruit.
Body: Medium body and carbonation.
Flavour: Tropical fruit, grapefruit, citrus.

Canned, at AndySnow tasting. Hazy pale yellow, small head. Aroma of cat pee, lychee and papaya. Light bodied with clean mouthfeel. Bone dry with guava, papaya and tomato. Mid bitter finish. Very light in body.

Sample during the "New England Beer & Food Tasting" on 07/14/2018. Hazy straw color with a medium thin white head that burns away steadily to a film. Stringy lace. Aroma of tropical fruit, grassy hop and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of grassy hops, tropical fruit and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a fruity hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

On tap at Lost Nation, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lightly dank hops and a touch of diacetyl. Flavour is a bit less buttery, with creamy piney hops, and biscuity malt. Creamy and somewhat buttery. Not overly well-calibrated.

On tap at Lost Nation, pours a cloudy dark orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out rich resinous hops, with a big caramel bready malt backbone. Flavour is along the same lines, with big resinous and piney hops, with a thick caramel and bready malt backbone. On the malty side, but the hops are robust enough to carry this through. Very good.

On tap at Lost Nation, pours a cloudy dark orange amber with a medium white head. Aroma brings out moderately expressed dry floral hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is fairly grainy, with light farmhouse notes, a vegetal character and crisp biscuity malt. Too vegetal for my tastes. It's okay.

On tap at Lost Nation, pours a hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out a floral dry hop character, with hay and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with floral hops, some bitter citrus and biscuity malt. Nothing overly special. It's alright.

Petit Ardennes from Lost Nation Brewing

On tap at Lost Nation, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of farmhouse notes, light smokiness and some dry hops. Flavour is similar, with subdued dry hops, farmhouse notes and some spiciness. Nicely constructed, with a floral dry hopping finish. Solid.
