Black with a small beige head. Aroma of bourbon, oak, chocolate, brownies, fudge, vanilla, light boozy notes and coffee. Flavour is heavy sweet. Medium bodied with and initially thick but then more watery finish body, spice warmth and soft carbonation.

Borefts XI. Day 1. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Light palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Mild dark malts, sweetish, good dark malt cream. Good gin BA, spicy gin and gin botanicals, a good gin twang all round. Goes down well.

Tap at Borefts 2019. Poured a hazy golden straw colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is yeasty banana, light citrus. The flavour is light acid citrus with, a fresh, crisp, light fruity, light clove sour palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Awesome.

Tap at Borefts 2019. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a round bubbly tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, toffee caramel, herbal, boozy alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, oily, liqouirce, chilli spice, alcohol bitter palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Clear ruby brown color, good frothy tan head, half-way lasting, light lacing. Aroma roasted malt, coffee, cocoa, caramel. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee roast, caramel. Roasty sweetbitter aftertaste, chocolate and coffee groundings, creamy mouthfeel. Tasty, good one.

Creamy caramel coloured head left a spotty cover on a very dark brown still body. Dark chocolate, malt, caramel & tobacco aroma. Medium bodied, creamy over the tongue with sharp dry finish - almost abrupt on the back. Malt, liquorice, dark chocolate, pine & cocoa tastes with light citrussy finish.

The Aromas are dark malt, a little roast and a lot of black patent and molasses. Flavors are very similar to nose, at first it's roast dark malt and cocoa then molasses come through and slowly fade. More roast and some coffee come back into it. The flavor is overall a little more sweet than bitter with good carbonation and body. I'm not a molasses in beer fan but this works pretty good, although I don't pick up any tequila at all.
