Established in 1994
Beginning in 1994 with a 7 barrel converted dairy system, we set and accomplished the goal of providing unique traditional ales & lagers available through OHB. Quickly we outgrew that system.
In 1997, we began the renovation of an 1880 Historic Landmark building, which now houses our brewing facilities, a 25-barrel Price Schonstrom brew house.

Bottle sourced from Beer Republic and drunk at home, new US brewery tick (12/09/2021) - pours very dark brown with a beige head. Toasted sweet malty with lots of caramel and toffee notes, dried fruit, roasty malty edge, spices, full body, vanilla and coconut edge into the warming malty close. Very nice.

Bottle shared in HW - picked up from Master of the Malts. Pours black-brown with a foamy, beige head. Medium to big sweet flavour but not cloying, some layered chocolate, subtle cinnamon, well roasted malts, baking cocoa, raisins, oily coffee. Full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, come sugary black coffee, earth, ashy roast, rocky road fudge. Great beer.

Bottle shared in HW - sourced from Master of the Malts. Pours black-brown with a small, foamy beige head. Medium sweet flavour with nice layered chocolate, soft roast, restrained toasted coconut, some oily vanilla, light booze, bourbon. Full bodied, oily and lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Finishes with mild alcohol warmth, more gooey coconut, fudge, vanilla sauce, some raisins. Really tasty gear.
