Bottled at RBESG 2007. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet wtih notes of alcohol and malt. The flavor is sweet malty and quite boring, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. The body is thin inspite of the alcohol notes.

Copper colour with a lasting creamy off-white head. Malt, grains, apple and a hint of grassy hops in the aroma. Malty, caramel sweet flavour, with a little roast dryness. Could use more balancing hops.

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is weet with notes of bisquits and dusty hops, but also with hints of stearin. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of berriesand medium notes of bisquits and caramel, leading to a dry bitter finish.

[i] [b] Cask conditioned at the Lamb and Flag, Oxford on the Ratebeerian day around Oxford 09-02-08 [/i] [/b] Poured amber with small head. Malt on the aroma, slightly sharpish maltiness if you’ll pardon the unintentional pun (if that is a pun?) fruity and tangy in the mouth, I’m not that fussed if truth be known.

Cask conditioned handpull at Market Porter. Chestnut colour with lasting beige head. A slightly sulphury aroma soon burns off. Some sherbert. Fullish, creamyish. Some fruit. A little bit earthy, but this really nice sharp sherbert hop comes up on the finish. Odd, I don’t like the first hit, but the swallow and finish are good.
