Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 21/03/21. Murky shitwater brown with modest off white spotting that soon thins to nyadda ... not a looker ... just scraping a 3. Nose is caramel, sweet malts, brown sugars, figs, toffee, dark malts. Taste comprises dried fruits, raisins, light spice, dark malts, figgy jam, cane sugar. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. A little muddled and disjointed.

21/3/2021. Bottle sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers. Pours mid-brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of boozy raisins, toffee, malt, dried fruit, biscuit. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, slight creamy texture, very soft carbonation. Plumy figgy finish. Nice aroma but didn't totally wow me otherwise.

Can, via the brewery online shop. Mostly clear straw gold. Fine white head stays the course. Nose has cracker barrel grain. Bright notes of pineapple and sweet lemon. Light milky funk. Lemony brett. Taste has a soft sweetness, and is lightly tart and dry. Bright and breezy on the palate. Foamy carbonation. Light dry finish. Extremely chuggable.

Bottle, via the brewery online shop. Opened this two nights ago, and couldn’t get on with it at all. It was 90% TCP and nearly got tipped away. Stuck a stopper in it and left it. Now it’s a whole different beer. Missus still thinks it’s absolutely awful though! Anyhoo. Sits copper red with no head. Looks like a blush wine. Nose has sweet grape. Grape stalks. Bit of well ripe raspberry. Touch of the barrel. Just a hint of something papery or cardboard like in the background. Taste is sweet and fairly juicy, with a light tartness. A bit of a flabby mouthfeel, with fine carbonation. Could benefit from being sharper really. Then the finish is a bit weird too. Like a damp carpet vibe going on. Odd beer this. Enjoyable with periods of oof...

Can, via the brewery online shop. Hazed pale gold. Slim, semi lacing, bright white head. Nose has dry cracker grain. Lemon rind. Bright brett. Pops with peachy, citrusy hop. Taste has a light, fruity sweetness. A little drying. Flicker of bitterness. Crisp and super clean on the palate. Fine foamy carbonation. Fresh and bright finish. Lovely.

Bottle, via the brewery online shop. Different colour label (this is pink and purple. Wonder if the hops are different?). Anyhoo. Good looking beer. Soft haze on a glowing gold. Tight white head is lasting and semi lacing. Nose has loads of bright brett. Lemon rind. White pepper. Missus just commented it smells like Bruxellensis Reserva. Taste has some sweetness, with fresh and clean mineral bitterness. Bright on the palate with foamy carbonation. Dry and light bitter finish. Nice one.
