Description
London Brewing Company was founded in 2011 in a small brewpub in Highgate called the Bull. It was here we honed our skills as one of London’s only Brewpubs, brewing cask ales primarily for sale on site.

In 2014 we purchased a warehouse sized pub in North Finchley called the Bohemia and had a 6.5 barrel (1000L) brew house installed at the rear of the premises. This pub has developed in to a social hub for the community, with a focused and popular beer range across both cask and keg.

Everything we do from food, events to great pubs is built around the brewery. Here we spend hours toiling, learning and experimenting to create hand-crafted drinks of the highest quality. Although our beers have won awards from CAMRA, SIBA and have been served as far away as Finland, Ireland, Scotland and America we are proudest to have our local London customers keep coming back for more.

[Cask at the Bull, Highgate] Amber with a moderate white head. Malt, earth, and some lemon. Good rich mouthfeel, fulfilling bitterness in the finish. Good solid pint of bitter. I could sink a few of these.

Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, dusty, tobacco. Old Fountain Weekend Mini Fest. Light haze on this pale gold beer. Little white head. Light dry palate. Good hoppy fruits - if a little watery. Tangerine, mango and orange. A little lemon. Mild minerals and a semi dry finish.

Old Fountain. Almost clear gold beer, little white head. Palate is fairly neutral with moderate carbonation. Pleasant hops - pine and mild tangerine and lemon citrus. Sprinkle of minerals. Finishes neutral. Yet another low abv hoppy beer. This one is pretty drinkable but the palate is a little thin.

Handpump at The Old Fountain Beer Festival, October 2012. Pours clear yellow with a fine, white cream head. Bright, citrusy nose, some floral straw. Light sweet flavor, quite dry, with some soap, minerals. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Dry to finish wit hdry straw, sand, minerals, dry lemon. So so.
