Crafty Brands (SXOLLIE Xider)
Cidery in Grabouw, Western Cape, South Africa 🇿🇦
A now merged brewery came in as being from Nederburg, South Africa but the 'Crafty Brands' located there is permanently closed, according to Google Maps, whereas the website seems quite alive.
Another address that I found is "Wildepaardejacht, Klein Drakenstein, Nederburg", but that's on a different location.
Both locations are in the city of Paarl, but the one I merged into is in Grabouw, where it currently is residing for BV.
The website claims the company to be based in London ( SXOLLIE, 15 Spring Bridge Mews, Ealing, W5 2AB )

Bottle from Morrisons, Sheldon, Birmingham where I have found over the last year there is a larger volume of different ciders available although not necessarily any better quality. Pale straw colour with brief fizz. Fragrant sweet fruity apple, quite mellow with light chemical note. Taste again quite mellow and sweet, slightly watered down but fruity with a bit of a citric tang to it. Light bodied, moderate carbonation. Its decent enough, quite refreshing. More for the hot weather rather than a January evening in Birmingham.

Bottle from Tesco. Clear pale yellow in colour, lots of visible carbonation. Aroma very much golden delicious apple juice, sugars. Taste is sweet and has a clean apple juice although a light fruity-yeast and semi-dry finish. Body is light although slightly oily. Easy drinking, simple cider but fairly tasty.

Clear pale straw with no head, lots of carbonation bubbles. Fresh apple aroma, moderately fizzy with a fresh medium sweet apple taste, just a touch of acidity/tartness that I remember of Granny Smith’s, which I haven’t eaten for years
Light, dry, oddly clear
