Cask @ The Betjeman, London St Pancras. Golden-amber with a thin head. It has a very dry texture with a sugary fruitiness noticeable beyond this. Has some tropical fruitiness in its nose.

Cask. Sheffield Tap. Clear, light amber. Thin, sticky, white head. Nose has fruit salad sweets. Some soap. Taste is light bitter. Some perfumed sweetness. Light to medium body. Grainy sweet finish. Ok.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, brass golden colour with small to average, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Immediately after opening the bottle an hoppy aroma with a touch of glue gets away and fills the room, sniffing at the glass draws out more fruity notes which remain rather unspecific though, nectarine at best, additionally hints of caramel malt with a grainy touch. Taste is caramel malty with floral hints of honey, cereals, mildly bitter hoppy counterpart with cautious, unspecific fruitiness. Somehow more sluggish like a lager than twinkle-toed like an ale.

Bottle @ home shared by Joes. Clear lightly amber color, virtually no head. Smell and taste lightly malts, lightly a fruit hop influence, lightly floral, nice hop bitterness. Decent body and soft carbonation.

Bottle @ home shared by Joes. Slightly hazy yellow to light orange color, small off-white head that diminishes quickly. Smell and taste lightly malts, a decent light fruity hoppyness, moderately bitter. Decent body and carbonation.

330ml bottle. Clear, orangey, deep golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity, minimally floral, hoppy aroma, notes of red and yellow apple, a touch of orange, minimally bready and biscuity, pale malty background. Taste is moderately dry hoppy, fruity hints of apple, green apple parings, mild red apple sweetness, cautious peppery spiciness. Clean and simple, a California Common resemblance comes to mind.

Can at James, 26/03/16. Lightly hazed amber golden with a decent light beige covering. Nose is melon, floral, tangerine, peach, astringent bitter notes, grassy. Taste comprises melon balls, tangerine, straw, bread dough, candyfloss. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close doused with light hop bitterness. Drinkable enough drop but isn’t going to make any waves in the London APA world.

Cask at The Mitre, Lancaster Gate. It pours clear amber with a small off-white head. The aroma is sweet, bready, grainy, biscuit, dull fruitiness and earth. The taste is bitter - sweet, preserved lemon, white bread, biscuit, harsh alcohol boost, cereal, floral and peppery spice with a dry, alcohol driven finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Was expected the alcohol to be so dominant. A slightly harsh high - boost golde. Not my kind of beer....

Cask at the Pommeler’s Rest, JDW - London. Pours clear copper-gold with a frothy, off-white head. Bland malty aroma, some leaves, bread. Light sweet flavor with very simplistic malt character, minimal hops, vague leaves, old berries. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Bland finish, just some further bread, faint leather, earth, leafy hops. Really bland overall. Lowest common denominator kind of stuff.
