Cask at the Bear (JDW), Maidenhead. Deep amber with a ring of white head; malty aroma; soft, biscuity malt taste, with a woody bitterness; and a malty, satisfying finish.

Cask at Tanners Hall JDW, Darlington. Dark copper amber colour, tan head leaving some lacing and malty fruity aroma. Taste is fruity malt with abit of a roasted note and light bitterness. Medium bodied, quite OK.

Advertised as a strong pale ale it is amber in colour with a bubbly head. Has a biscuit malty taste but a small fruitiness is evident throughout.

Pendle Beer Festival 2018. Golden with a small head. Has light fruits, light caramels, with the latter providing a palatable and gentle sweetness.

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell, ABV 5%. Golden amber with a thin cream head; floral aroma; soft in the mouth with a sweet caramel malts and some orange fruit; and a crisply bitter finish. A pleasant bitter.

Cask (handpump) @ Lord Moon Of The Mall - JDW, 16-18 Whitehall, West End, Greater London, England SW1A 2DY.Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate, coffee, wood, spicy, berry notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111227]
