Cask at the William Webb Ellis (JDW), Twickenham - 15/09/12. Clear golden with a thin white head that soon thinned to the edges and formed a small pond atop the glass. Rancid nose comprising grass, vegetal tones, peas, twigs and stale dustbins. Tastes vegetal, peas, cereal, light citrus just evident - MEH ! Medium bodied, moderate carbonationm astringent finish. Bluurgh! As a footnote the beer is oridinarily very well kept in this JDW so need to revisit and determine whether this was a bad pint or not!

The malts add little, and this would certainly have to fight hard to win any prizes.

On tap somewhere! Clear red brown beer. Light dry palate. Faint hint of soap. Then a good mix of fruit and nuts. Apple, toffee, hazlenuts. Finishes semi dry and with a little hop bitterness.
