Cask gravity at The George, Bethersden, Summer BF 2006. Chestnut colour with thin beige head. Juicy in mouth. Strawberry and cherry sticky fruit flavours. Dryish finish. Good depth to the fruit/malt flavours. Really good ESB style malty fruity beer. Another good beer from Arundel.

Cask handpull at Market Porter, Borough. Very dark ruby beer with beige head. Sour liquorice aroma. Good sourness in mouth with bit more liquorice on the end. It’s just a bit different to the other beers on at the pub on this day. Nice and chewy in the mouth

Cask gravity at Bowl Inn, Charing, BF 2006. Chestnut colour with lasting beige head. Well balanced best bitter. Bits of yeast, malt, hop. I’ve had several Arundel beers now and have been impressed with all of them. Good best bitter.

Bottle picked up at SH Jones Bicester. Golden with a slight hoppy nose, a touch too fizzy really, some bitterness but in truth I found this a little bit dissapointing.

Cask gravity at The George, Bethersden. Chestnut colour with lasting beige head. Malty aroma. Nice fruit in mouth of the red variety. Some strawberry jam. Malty juicy finish with a smack of earthy hop. Would Sir Winston approve of being punned on this beer? Probably not, as he was a Pol Roger white foil drinker. Rather a delicious bitter though.

[Cask at Volunteers Arms, GBBF 2005] A hazy brown beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of caramel, but also with lighter notes of roasted malt. The flavor is sweet flowery combined with notes of caramel, leading to a slightly roasted and acidic end.

Cask handpull at Yew Tree Inn, Barfrestone. Like many of the reviews I have to give this mild a thumbs up. Black beer with thin dark beige head. Bit of dark toffee/treacle and lots of dark choc. More choc/coffee in mouth with some grainyness. Not a lot of hop but this is a good mild.

Bottle from sainsburys. Label says Arundel Sussex Gold and new logo. Golden beer lovely hop nose, all sorts of citrus flavours and green hop. Stunning. Lemon/lime/strawberry and then hoppy tingling finish. Gorgeous and my type of beer. 949518 4.5/5.0. Clearly I was on smack when I had this beer last time. Yes the hop is still there over a bit of a toasty aroma. Some toffee in the flavour. Some hop on end. Yes quite well balanced and quite drinkable. Failing to see why I went so mental over it last time. It’s a mid 3 at best.

Bottle from Sainsbury’s. Golden colour, thin white head. Having som citrus and pineapple in the aroma. The taste is fruity and a litte grassy and malty with a nice bitterness in the after taste. A pretty nice beer.

Cask at County Hotel, JDW, Ashford I was quite taken with this and had a couple of pints. Reddish brown in colour with some really nice malt fruit flavours going on, a bit of raspberry and strawberry with a hint of caramel. Finish had some hops to balance. Very nice
