[Cask at Milton Keynes Beer Festival 2011] Brown with a loose beige head. Cough mixture, herbs and fruit, very sweet, bizarre and unpleasant. Not for me.

Cask, one-third pint ordered at the Lister bar, GBBF’11. Coal black body. Fragile patches at the surface. Aroma of earthy malts. Flavoured with dark sweet malts and bread along with hints of dried fruits. Notes of salt, too. Creamy in the mouth. OK (London, 04.08.2011).

Third day at GBBF’11, cask, one-third pint of this one at W6 Lister Bar. Clear and deep golden body. Headless. Faint aroma of grass and fruits. Sweet flavour of grainy malts added by fruity hops. Mid-dry, hoppy ending. Very average (London, 04.08.2011).

Cask @ GBBF 2011, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.Clear medium yellow colour with a small to small average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, toffee, acrid toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110802]

Cask @ GBBF 2011, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.Clear medium red btown colour with a small to average, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, caramel, sewer - drain notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, cheap malt, thin. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. Cask-conditioned at a JDW in Reading, 7/07/2011. Deep amber with a decent off-white head. Sweet, caramel aroma with some earthy malts. Flavour of toffee, with a hint of fruit and moderately bitter finish. Ok.

Cask@GBBF2011. Deep amber colour, small head. Aroma is fruits, caramel, mild nectary notes as well as some slight toasted notes and also quite hoppy. Flavour is wood, syrup, earth, some roasted notes as well as some caramel notes. Mild meaty notes in the finish.

Cask@GBBF2011. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some berries, mild earthy and cereal like notes. Flavour is fruits, nectar, mild honey as well as some resiny and mild berryish notes. Wellbalanced.
